Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gomailify ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gomailify provides an email delivery service that connects custom email addresses to Gmail accounts via OAuth2. The Service allows you to:

Send emails from custom addresses via your Gmail account
Insert sent emails into your Gmail Sent folder
Route inbound emails to your Gmail inbox

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Not use the Service for spam, phishing, or malicious purposes
Not violate Google's Terms of Service or Gmail API Terms

4. OAuth and Gmail Access

For Mailbox Users:

By connecting your Gmail account to a mailbox, you authorize Gomailify to:

Send emails via Gmail API using your account
Insert sent emails into your Gmail Sent folder
Access your Gmail email address for identification

You can revoke this access at any time via the removal link sent to you or through your Google Account settings.

For Admin Users:

By signing in as an admin, you authorize Gomailify to:

Access your Google account information (email, name, profile picture) for authentication
Insert system notifications directly into your Gmail inbox (billing alerts, delivery failures, service updates)

We only write notifications to your own inbox. We do NOT read your emails, send to external recipients, or access any other Gmail data. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.

5. Data Retention and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. We retain:

OAuth tokens until you disconnect your mailbox
Email content for up to 7 days (then automatically deleted)
Delivery records for up to 7 days (then automatically deleted)

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

Maintenance and updates
Third-party service outages (Google, Cloudflare)
Technical issues beyond our control

7. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use the Service to:

Send spam or unsolicited bulk emails
Engage in phishing, fraud, or identity theft
Distribute malware or viruses
Violate intellectual property rights
Harass or abuse others
Circumvent or disable security features

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may terminate your use of the Service by disconnecting your mailboxes and ceasing to use the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOMAILIFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
